We collect that exact form, from every polling unit in the country — not a national figure somebody else has already added up.

We check if the numbers add up

On the form, the votes for each party should add up to the total at the bottom. Sometimes they don’t. You see both numbers, side by side, and the form they came from.

You’ll always know what hasn’t come in

If forms are still missing from an area, we say so right next to the number. So you know whether a total is finished or still counting.

If a form gets replaced, we keep both

Sometimes a new form is uploaded to replace an older one. We keep both, and the time each one arrived. The record of the night shouldn’t quietly rewrite itself.
